Who installs VRF systems in Amman?
TTC Engineering & Air Conditioning, an HVAC contractor on Wasfi Al-Tall Street in Amman. Our own team designs and installs LG VRF systems for villas, offices, shops and commercial buildings in Amman and across Jordan, from the first load calculation through to commissioning and after-sales maintenance. Is VRF right for a villa?
Often, yes, especially for a larger villa with many rooms or several floors. One VRF outdoor system can run many indoor units, each room with its own control, which saves roof and façade space compared with one outdoor unit per split. VRF is at its most efficient when only some rooms are running, which is how most homes are used. For a smaller villa or an apartment, a ducted split or wall-mounted splits can be the better-value choice; we'll tell you which fits after a cooling-load calculation.
What's included in a TTC VRF installation?

Which VRF brands does TTC install?
For VRF we supply and install LG systems (the LG Multi V range). TTC is an HVAC contractor, not an LG dealer or agent: we supply the units and install them with our own team. For split and ducted split units we also work with Frost and Aux.

What is a VRF system?
VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) is an air conditioning system where one outdoor unit serves many indoor units, each controlled separately. The system varies refrigerant flow to match each zone's demand, which makes it efficient for buildings with many rooms.
Who should choose VRF?
VRF suits large villas, office floors, clinics, hotels, shops and mixed-use buildings where many rooms need independent control and outdoor space for equipment is limited. For a small apartment, split units are usually more economical.
VRF design and installation steps
A VRF project runs through load calculation per zone, equipment selection, refrigerant piping design with branch joints, installation of copper lines and indoor units, nitrogen pressure testing, vacuum, refrigerant charging, commissioning and handover with controls training. Pressure testing and correct pipe sizing are what make a VRF system reliable for years.
Brands for VRF
For VRF, TTC installs LG Multi V systems. We also supply Aux and Frost equipment for other system types. Brand choice depends on project size, budget and availability of parts in Jordan.
What affects VRF cost?
Total capacity, number and type of indoor units (cassette, ducted, wall), pipe lengths and building height, controls (central controller, Wi-Fi) and the stage of construction. VRF has a higher upfront cost than splits, but can save on running costs and outdoor space in larger buildings.
VRF systems: common questions
Is VRF worth it for a villa in Jordan?
For larger villas with many rooms, yes: one compact outdoor unit, individual room control and efficient part-load running. For smaller homes, split or ducted split often gives better value. See our VRF vs split comparison.
How many indoor units can one VRF outdoor unit run?
It depends on the model and capacity; one outdoor unit can serve many indoor units. We size the outdoor unit to the total load and diversity of the building.
How long does a VRF installation take?
It depends on the building and construction stage. Piping is usually done during construction, then indoor units and commissioning after finishing work. We give a timeline with the quote.
Do you maintain VRF systems, including AUX VRF?
Yes, we service VRF systems: filter and coil cleaning, drain checks, refrigerant and pressure checks, and error-code diagnosis. For Aux or other brands, send us the model and error code on WhatsApp and we'll confirm what we can do.
Can VRF heat and cool at the same time?
Heat-recovery VRF models can cool some rooms while heating others. Standard heat-pump VRF runs the whole system in either cooling or heating mode.
